City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy 

HB Training offers City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy. 

The City & Guild Level 2 Diploma is a solid foundation to work in the Beauty Industry and trusted and recognised by employers worldwide for providing qualifications that offer proof of the skills they need to get the job done.

Course Overview:

The City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is a professional qualification developed for those looking for a career in cosmetic beauty therapy enabling you to work in salons, spas, health clubs or become a self-employed beauty therapist.

City & Guilds Beauty Therapy Units:

To achieve a full certification for a Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, learners must complete a total of eight units comprising all mandatory technical units and one optional unit.

 Units are as follows:

  • Unit 201 - Working in beauty therapy
  • Unit 202 - Maintain health and safety in the salon
  • Unit 203 - Consult and advise clients on treatments
  • Unit 204 - Improve and maintain facial skin condition
  • Unit 205 - Remove hair using waxing techniques
  • Unit 206 - Provide manicure treatments
  • Unit 207 - Provide pedicure treatmets
  • Unit 209 - Provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments
  • Unit 212 - Provide nail art services.

Entry Requirements:

Places are limited and entrance by interview only, previous beauty therapy experience is not required. If you are a school leaver 4 grade C GCSE are required.

When Does the Course Begin?

Course start date is 9.30am Monday 12th january 2009.

Course Fees:

Course registration is £35. Tuition fees are £4500 plus £100 examination fee. We accept all major credit cards.

Additional Information:

You are required to purchase a plain white tunic and full length, black trouser.  These are available from quailty suppliers such as Health and Beauty Wear or can be purchased at our in-house trade centre.  Required footwear is low heeled black court shoe.

Students will receive a kit list for every unit, which can be purchased in house, from our Trade Centre, which students will be encouraged to register to receive membership.

Kits can be purchased during Induction day, students will need to purchase pen, pencil, eraser, tip-ex, highlighter, paper, plastic wallets and an A4 lever arch file, we do not supply these items.
